Benefitting kids impacted by special needs, The PrayFit Run will be hosted by best-selling author and founder of PrayFit, Jimmy Peña along with Calvary Community Church in beautiful Westlake Village, California.
The PrayFit Run is a premiere event with all participants receiving a finisher’s medal and race t-shirt. The 5K and 10K are both certified by USA TRACK AND FIELD with official chip timing, while the 1-mile and kid’s race are set up for a “fun run” without official results.
All proceeds to benefit local children and families impacted by disabilities and special needs. The event welcomes runners, joggers, walkers, and wheelchair athletes.
This run helps fund local respite events and outreach including BEACH DAY, THE SPECIAL ABILITIES DANCE, BUDDY BREAK and SPECIAL ABILITIES MINISTRY supplies.
Please arrive early to avoid traffic and to give yourself time to park and pick-up your packet. For your convenience, early packet pick-up is at Calvary Community Church Friday May 5th, 2023 from 4pm to 7pm.

Note: You will be able to pick up your race packet and bib on the morning of the event starting at 6am at Calvary, however, please consider registering early at Friday’s pre-race packet pick-up opportunity.

Please arrive at least 1 hour before your event to give yourself time to park, get settled and make your way to the start.
Only the 5K and 10K are timed with official results.
Your Timing Device for this event is a disposable ChronoTrack B-Tag which is affixed to the back of your bib number. In order to receive an accurate time, please make sure your bib is clearly visible on the front of the torso, unaltered and unmodified, pinned in all four corners and not covered by jackets, runner belts, water bottles, etc. Please do not fold or wrinkle. Spectrum Sports will be timing this event.
Yes, there will be a protected area to leave your belongings.
We will have restrooms on-site for participants
The race will go on rain or shine. However, if there is severe weather or dangerous conditions that threaten participants, guests, or volunteers, we reserve the right to cancel the race without refunds to ensure your safety.
Due to the size and nature of the event, pets (with the exception of service animals) are not allowed.
Yes. Post-race festivities are on the main lawn, so please bring your entire family and enjoy.
The race results will be automatically emailed to your registered email as soon as they are available.
The use of personal music devices is strongly discouraged at this race.
The virtual participants are as close to the action as possible. By signing up, you get assigned a bib number and you're automatically sent your medal and t-shirt to arrive the day of the race. It's not mandatory, but if you would post a pic of you and your medal following your run or walk, we would be so grateful. Use hashtag #prayfitrun2023

For the race ticket, no. However, donations directly to the ministry? YES. PrayFit is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We'll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.
