• Maintain PrayFit’s relationships with our current members. They’re the life-blood of what we do.
• Monitor social media traffic, grow base, spread news of iPrayFit Membership and the iPrayFit Project.
• Research digital strategies and how we can better support our online community.
• Come up with and pitch ideas to expand our individual fundraising campaign outreach and improve the overall membership/fundraising experience.

We are looking for a student or recent graduate to start mid-September and work through late December. We'll need you for 5-10 hours a week. You can work remotely – although we do have commercials we plan to shoot that could use your assistance – but you do NOT have to live in the Los Angeles area.

The iPrayFit intern(s) will have the opportunity to be a part of the entire iPrayFit Project from start to finish and work closely with the founder and board of directors. The intern(s) will have the opportunity to unleash their creative side with website design, social media marketing, blog posting, charity promotion, email campaigns - (and if local) - assistance on location for photo shoots, video shoots and web-based commercials.

PrayFit Ministries is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit charity organization founded by New York Times bestselling author, Jimmy Peña. Over the last 7 years, the mission of PrayFit.org has been to help the collective church with humble, bodily stewardship, and to help those in the health & fitness industry toward a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. With over 3,000 fitness devotions, two bestselling DVD products with Lionsgate Entertainment and the latest cookbook – The PrayFit Diet – published by Simon & Schuster, PrayFit is known as the pioneer in the faith and fitness industry. But now, we are very excited to be taking PrayFit in new and exciting directions for charity with The iPrayFit Project.

If you’d like to help people get access to clean water, or help those with special needs obtain mobility, or help Pastors around the world get to hard-to-reach places, then The iPrayFit Project needs you! Specifically, our new digital iPrayFit membership – and all its membership/subscription dues – is being dedicated to helping those in need all around the world and here at home. But we need some critical help in encouraging others to dedicate their workouts for charity.

If you have a passion for faith & fitness, a heart for the less fortunate, and skills with social media and websites (familiarity with WordPress and Squarespace, a plus), let’s talk. Submit major of study and cover letter (have fun with it and be yourself) to team@prayfit.org.

This is an unpaid internship - but is an exceptional opportunity to gain experience at a non-profit with an ambitious mission. We will gladly work with your institution to give you academic credit for your experience.
